Red Hat Security: Securing Containers and OpenShift
Based on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.11
Containerization has become increasingly important as enterprises and organizations have redeveloped applications to take advantage of its scaling, resiliency, and ease-of-deployment benefits. To counter the perception that an extra layer of container architecture means added complexity and uncertain security, Red Hat Security: Securing Containers and OpenShift (DO425) offers proof that protecting containerized applications leverages traditional IT skills, builds on mature Linux technology, and relies on trusted Red Hat integration expertise. This course is ideal for InfoSec engineers who need to understand how to achieve compliance in a container based architecture.
Course participants will interact with Red Hat’s well-designed layered container security model: core kernel process protections, external network and storage isolation, comprehensive role- and rule-based access controls, and extensible build, orchestration and deployment container automation.
With DO425, operators, managers and architects will be able to demonstrate and certify the highest levels of application protection and repeatable, automated container environment security. The certification for this course is EX425 – Red Hat Certified Specialist in Security: Containers and OpenShift Container Platform
